Who hosts the group?
Social groups are hosted by Behavior Analyst, Ashley Eppenstein. Ashley is committed to helping individuals improve their ability to create and maintain meaningful relationships. Ashley holds masters in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Counseling Psychology. She has been working in the field of Autism and other developmental disabilities for the past 10 years. Ashley’s experience includes providing ABA therapy and counseling services for children, teens, and adults across a variety of settings. She has extensive experience addressing a variety of maladaptive behaviors and increasing communication and social skills. In addition, she has provided ABA therapy for adults with developmental disabilities within community day program and group living settings, specializing with teaching job readiness and social development.
What is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)?
BCBA’s are healthcare providers who specialize in creating individualized treatment plans to teach a variety of social, adaptive, language, cognitive, executive functioning, and leisure skills. BCBA’s teach skills in order to help others achieve independence and autonomy within their lives.
